Taste of Edmonds
Mission: To organize and present a community family oriented festival.
Raises funds for the Chamber of Commerce while promoting Edmonds as a
destination of choice for families and businesses. Board Rep -

Committee
To represent the Chamber with fun and pride at public functions to make
new members and prospective members feel welcome and to establish personal
contacts with all members. Committee meets the first Wednesday monthly, 8:45 am,

Annual Banquet
Organizes and executes themed plan for the Chamber’s Annual Meeting.
Usually held end of January or
beginning of February 2010. More information to come.

Board and Operations
The Executive Committee includes the president, first and second vice
presidents, the treasurer, the Chamber staff, and, at the discretion of
the president, other directors.

Operations are reviewed and
recommendations are made in preparation for Board meetings. This
committee, excluding the Chamber staff, acts as the Personnel Committee.
The Board of Directors is
responsible for the fiduciary health, goals and objectives and all
policy matters on behalf of this Member organization.

Downtown Edmonds Merchants Committee
Mission: Working together to increase sales through collaboration,
events, and promotions, while having fun. Meetings are the first Friday
monthly, 8:30 am, The Savvy Traveler. Board Rep - Frank Yamamoto,

Economic Development Committee
Mission: To foster a vibrant economic environment for the Edmonds area
in industry, services, and retail businesses and to keep abreast of
local issues that may affect the business community. City, Port
and County governments make decisions every day that affect commercial
business interests. You can
share in the Chamber's collective influence on local economic decisions
and in area government affairs. Join us in our public service efforts
and help spur the kind of strategic development in the city of Edmonds
that will ultimately enhance your own business' growth.

Golf Classic
Assist in the organization and execution of an annual event held in
co-operation with the Harbor Square Athletic Club. Board Rep -

Fourth of July
Organizes a family oriented Independence Day in Edmonds to attract
visitors and enhance the small town atmosphere. Board Rep - Ron

Halloween
The Halloween event invites families to bring the kids down for a safe
and fun Trick or Treating experience. This committee helps orchestrate
the event. The businesses in the downtown area hand out candy to over

Edmonds Classic Carshow
Organizes a festival for a quality car show in September in Downtown
Edmonds that will enhance our town’s image as a destination of choice
for visitors, shoppers and new businesses. Board Rep - Chris

Marketing/PR Committee
Chamber Public Relations involve writers, photographers, event
coordinators, and other professionals who work with the Chamber staff to
promote the Chamber itself. Chamber presentations at public events and
the Chamber Newsletter EdmondsWA.com are products of the Chamber PR

Serves not only in recruitment, but also in member retention by
communicating regularly with members. The primary function of the
committee is to offer members benefits and opportunities to enhance and
