A Taste of EdmondsMission: To organize and present a community family oriented festival. Raises funds for the Chamber of Commerce while promoting Edmonds as a destination of choice for families and businesses. Board Rep: Jack Loos, Rael & Letson Ambassador CommitteeMission: To represent the Chamber with fun and pride at public functions to make new members and prospective members feel welcome and to establish personal contacts with all members. Annual BanquetOrganizes and executes themed plan for the Chamber’s Annual Meeting. Usually held end of January or beginning of February 2010. More information to come. Economic Development CommitteeMission: To foster a vibrant economic environment for the Edmonds area in industry, services, and retail businesses and to keep abreast of local issues that may affect the business community. City, Port and County governments make decisions every day that affect commercial business interests. You can share in the Chamber's collective influence on local economic decisions and in area government affairs. Join us in our public service efforts and help spur the kind of strategic development in the city of Edmonds that will ultimately enhance your own business' growth. This committee helps orchestrate the event. The businesses in the downtown area hand out candy to over 3000 children.
