The Arts Summit is an opportunity to meet local artists and arts groups, see performances, explore new skills, and learn more about how the arts are a dynamic force in Edmonds. The Arts Summit is a free citywide gathering of the cultural arts community: a day for highlighting the scope and energy of the Edmonds arts scene.

Anyone interested in the key role that arts and culture play in Edmonds.

Program

  • Morning keynote, The Arts Mean Business, by Randy Cohen, VP of Research & Policy at Americans for the Arts and a national expert on the role of arts in community and economic development;
  • Build your skills and get inspired with short sessions on traditional and social media, video promotion, funding, possibilities for collaboration and partnership, and more;
  • Browse the resource tables at lunchtime, enjoy short performances, and learn about the many arts activities in our community;
  • Join a facilitated session in the afternoon and shape the future for arts and culture in Edmonds and voice your ideas about the future;
  • Plan to stay for more creative conversation at an after hours event in the lobby with jazz performance by some of our talented high school musicians.
