Urban named to Paine Field Community Council

The President & CEO of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, Greg Urban, has been appointed to serve on the Paine Field Community Council (PFCC).

The ten-member council is comprised of four (4) community members, two (2) pilots, two (2) on-airport businesses and two (2) off-airport businesses.  The PFCC meets 3-4 times per year and is appointed to review airport related business, future projects and make recommendations.

The Snohomish County Council appointed Greg Urban to the council as an “off-airport business” representative on June 8.  Urban said, “I look forward to serving on the Paine Field Community Council and representing the Edmonds business community over the next few years.”  Urban’s appointment to the council expires in 2019.


About Paine Field Community Council:
The Paine Field Community Council was formed in 1980 as a result of the Airport's Mediated Role Determination.  A primary purpose of the Community Council is to review, assess, and make recommendations to the Airport Director and/or affected governmental entities with regard to the Airport, especially items impacting the spirit and letter of the mediated agreement.  In addition, the Community Council promotes mutual cooperation and understanding between the Airport, residential communities and airport users.


Promoting the economic vitality of Edmonds through advocacy, leadership, education and community-building events.
